What was not working
Collection depended on a counter visit or a bank slip. Each payment was then matched to an invoice by hand, and outstanding balances only became visible at month end.
What we did
A web application for viewing and paying invoices online, with or without a login. Each payment is matched to its invoice automatically, so the balance is accurate at any moment rather than only after month end.
Result
Collection no longer depends on a counter or on opening hours. Each payment closes its own invoice automatically, so receivables are accurate at any moment - not only after month end.
